About Golden Ride Guides
Meet Your Guide
Whether you are visiting town or a local shredder exploring new trails, I am dedicated to to helping you focus on what matters most: simply enjoying the ride! I believe there is no greater joy than sharing a new trails with other riders, or helping riders finally master that one pesky trail feature ;). At Golden Guide & Ride, I use my professional mountain bike coaching experience to lead safe and exhilarating tours of some of the best terrain Colorado has to offer.
A bit about myself: I am husband, father, engineer and all-around explorer. I love the dirt as much as I love the snow, and won't say no to a challenging hike either. When I'm not on two wheels, you'll find me inventing, 3D-printing, cooking and reading... and perhaps looking at maps planning the next big adventure.
I started riding and racing mountain bikes in the late 90's and never looked back. I may have taken a 10-year detour into elite-level road racing and even dabbled in bmx and observed trials...but fat tires have always had my heart. My favorite trail types are raw, east-coast style technical up and down -- but I'll argue there is no such thing as a bad trail.
